Important Disclaimer
The calculators on this website are for informational and illustrative purposes only. The payment estimates provided are not guaranteed and do not constitute an offer for financing. Actual rates, terms, and approval depend on credit qualifications, lender policies, and other factors. Please consult a qualified lender or financial advisor before making any financing decisions.
Who runs this site
I build and run search-driven websites and the tooling behind them. That is my actual trade. I have built a site in a niche the industry rates as extremely competitive, grown it to roughly a thousand visits a day, and sold it. I also run local lead-generation sites in high-ticket service niches, which is how I ended up reading equipment finance terms in the first place.
I built these calculators because the ones I could find were either gated behind an email form, tied to a single lender, or quietly wrong. I wanted something I could open, use in ten seconds, and trust the arithmetic of.
What I am not
This matters more than the paragraph above, so I want it stated plainly rather than buried.
I am not a lender. I am not a broker. I am not an accountant, a tax adviser, or a financial adviser. I hold no licence or credential in lending or in tax. I do not arrange credit, I never see your application, and I have no influence over whether you are approved or on what terms.
What I can vouch for is the arithmetic and the sourcing. The formulas are documented on the methodology page, including what they deliberately leave out. The Section 179 figures come from published IRS limits and are dated on the page. Where a number is an illustrative default rather than a real quote, it says so.
What I cannot vouch for is your situation. A calculator does not know your credit file, your bank statements, or what a lender will actually do on a Tuesday afternoon. Treat every number here as a starting point for a conversation with someone who is qualified, not as a substitute for one.
How I make money
If you apply for financing through a link on this site, I may be paid a referral fee by the lender. It costs you nothing and it does not change your rate. It is also a conflict of interest, and you should read the site knowing that. The full arrangement is on the disclosure page.
Corrections
If a formula is wrong, a tax figure is stale, or a page says something that is not true, tell me and I will fix it. I would rather be corrected than confidently wrong, and in this subject the cost of being confidently wrong lands on the reader, not on me. The address is on the contact page.
How the numbers are produced
Every formula, every assumption and everything our estimates leave out is documented on the methodology page. If you find an error, tell us and we will correct it.
